The male cichlid shown on the pictures above is a so far unknown species that is pretty much similar to a Sciaenochromis type, this is why we put it here like Sciaenochromis sp. Unfortunately, there is nothing else known about this species, even where he is captured exactly but by the large eyes is clear that this is a species that lives in the deeper regions. The male was photographed at the time he was about 10 cm but he will probably grow bigger. About the way how the feeding behaviour of this species is and the kind of food is nothing known.
